WEE haue hearde (Brethren) that Pilate the Romane Gouernour hath striuen verie long against the importunitie and obstinacie of the Iewes and High Priestes, to get the Lord Iesus, whom his cōscience tolde him was innocent, set loose and at libertie, but all in vaine: |
