The Apostle appealed to the knowledge and conscience of the Elders of Ephesus, that he had kept back nothing which was profitable to them, ver. 20. and that he was pure from the blood of all men, in that he had not shunned to declare unto them the whole counsel of God, ver. 26, 27.
