This of eating our bread in the sweat of our face, is all the three: it is a Curse; it is a Promise; it is a Precept. It is a Curse; in that God will not suffer the earth to afford us bread, without our sweat. It is a Promise; in that God assureth us, we shall have bread for our sweat.
