In-Text 'Tis plain, this is only a Metaphysical Notion, only a general Word or Term that serves to denote our conception of something in a Being that doth not depend upon the Properties of it, nor inhere in them, but they upon and in it. But we can have no Notion of Substance existing without any Properties, any more than of Properties without it.
