Upon which grounds, whensoever the Fathers make use of the Authority of his Successors, Bishops of Rome against Hereticks or Schismaticks, they consider that authority as a priviledge annexed to the Chair of St. Peter, and only for St. Peters regard to the Sea of Rome.
