This Decree is written in the Books named Libri Augustales, the Imperial Books, gathered by Tribonianus, Basilides, Theophilus, Dioscorus, and Satira, Men of great Authority and Learning, at the Commandment of the Emperor Justinian, and is alledged by Petrus Crinitus, a notable learned Man, in the Ninth Book and Ninth Chapter of his Work, intituled, De honesta Disciplina, that is to say, Of honest Learning. |
