It may be, this may be yet extenuated, that such protestatiōs were unadvised, proceeding from an heated exasperatiō. I insist, certainly their beliefe of lyes is setled, after solemne deliberation: It is Dogmaticall, not Personall; the beliefe of lyes, is the very rock of the Romane religion. And observe, the Text speaketh in the singular number, a singular argument, that their beliefe in a lie, is the Cornerstone of the Romane Religion. |
