IT followeth now, that we proceed unto the proofe and confirmation of the Doctrine, and shew you, That the sins of a man that is truly regenerat, are in sundry respects much more hainous and dangerous then the same sins are, being committed by another man. Two sorts of witnesses there are to confirme this. 1. The conscience of the regenerate themselves. 2. The Lord who is greater then the conscience of any man. For the first. Lecture CVIII.
